A seminar on National Educational Policy 2016 was held in the Auditorium of St Joseph's Indian Institutions on 3rd December 2016. It was organised by Rev Fr Leo Pereira, The rector of St Joseph's Indian Institution.

The Guest speaker Rev Fr Dr Pushparaj from Madhurai province, gave a detailed report on the proposed NEP - 2016 and its impact on school and colleges run by the minority communities.

Teaching facilities from various Jesuits Institutions from Bangalore, Hasan, Anekal and Bijapur participated in the seminar. The Seminar began with a welcome speech by our rector Rev Fr Leo Pereira and a message by our Provincial Rev Fr Stany D'souza. It ended with a group discussion on the topics "Is NEP 2016 for the Poor?" and "The effect on NEP 2016 on the teaching feternity."

Overall the seminar was very information and interactive, it created awareness among the teaching feternity about the NEP 2016.
