Historical Trip for 2nd year HEBA students
The second year HEBA students study “Indian History” as part of the curriculum. A portion of their curriculum also deals with Hoysala dynasty whose capital cities were Belur and Halebeedu. To make learning more interesting and to have a firsthand experience, the 2nd year HEBA students were taken for a day’s trip to Belur and Halebeedu on 2nd October 2015.The students made the best use of this historical trip to learn more about the Hoysalas, and they were rightly guided by their history lecturer Ms. Prathiba. She explained briefly the history of the Hoysalas and their art and architecture which the students witnessed in both these places.
