Outreach Programme

November 20th ,2015
About sixty NCC cadets and Band Boys of S.J.I.H.S have a good memory about their visit to the Rastriya Military School and Home for the aged run by Little sisters of the poor, Hosur Road.

First we visited RMS school at 1 pm on 20th November (Friday) 2015.They explained about the various disciplines of the school. A motivational video was shown to us by the school. This video inspired us a lot. We were taken to see various military equipment’s and achievements of the school. The entire school campuses were shown to us by Mr. Suresh Physics teacher of Military school.

We were given the the time 3.30 pm to visit and entertain the inmates of little sisters of the poor Home for the aged. We reached their by 3.15 pm. The stage was arranged for the program by our leaders. Exactly at 3.30 pm we started our entertainment program and ended by 4.30 pm. It was a joy for us to see the old people happy and smile. After the program we had an opportunity to interact with them. One among them was a man of 100 years old. They advised us to study well and come up in life. They shared their life experiences with us. We thank our NCC officer Mr. Anil Fernandes for taking the initiative and taking us there. Sister superior of the convent thanked us and invited us again.
