Eucharistic Celebration of St Ignatius of Loyola

A solemn mass was held on Sunday, 29 July 2018 at 9 am in the Indian High School Quadrangle on the occasion of the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. The main celebrant was Rev. Fr. Fedrick D’Silva. Also present were the Rector Rev Fr Leo Pereira SJ and the Director Rev Fr Henry Saldanha SJ of SJIHS, the Principal of St Joseph's School (CBSE) Rev Fr Sunil Fernandes, Rev Fr Vincent Pinto, the Finance Officer, Rev Fr Deepak J K, Director of Community College and Rev Fr Cyril Menezes, Vice Principal and Correspondent of SJIHS, SJIMS and SJIPS. Fr Fedrick stressed on the Ignatian value of service to humanity and requested all the students to grow in the Ignatian Spirit. Parents of all the Catholic students were invited for the mass. The mass ended with the song – “Noble Knight” which described St. Ignatius as a true leader. It was a solemn occasion which went well with the presence of all the Catholic students, parents and staff members from all units.
